Unfortunately, too often people with disabilities find themselves in a forced house arrest. This is not because they did anything wrong of course, but because the environment outside the home has become difficult to navigate if not entirely inaccessible. Instead of continuing to live independently, almost 1.3 billion people with disabilities around the globe are severely limited by the conditions of the environment.
STEP-HEAR System was developed to help people with disabilities around the globe to carry out a variety of daily tasks safely and independently. Using only their smartphone, they can effectively navigate travel to and interactions at medical centers, banks, public transportation, and even at the petrol station
STEP-HEAR App is free in the iOS and for Android users.
How does it work?
First of all, Welcome to our STEP-HEAR App! This is the main screen of the App.
Here we explain the uses of each button 1-3.
